Sometimes I just can’t help myself. These two costumes were pretty inexpensive. I like to shop on Japanese sims where you can find a lot of this kind of stuff for L$30 or L$50 . . . not ALL the time, but the prices are great compared to other vendors.
This dress is from a designer called Samsara Mint, I believe. She’s really nice, and has a good selection of contemporary clothing in Second Life.
This one is a combination outfit I bought during the Relay For Life rally and clothing sale. I think the way it worked was all the vendors that were participating in the event donated some of their sales to Relay For Life, which is a real life organization that helps to fund cancer research. Every vendor had a set of clothes specifically for donating the money to RFL.
I donated a lot that day. In truth, I was probably more liberal with my spending because of that – I was donating to charity! And pretty much everything I found was really, really pretty! And inexpensive. I think L$100 – L$150 was the minimum donation requirement to receive the garment.
The pink rose dress I like to wear – rather frequently – is from a design house called Ambrosia. This is one of the brands I discovered while wandering around those Japanese sims I mentioned. Again with the inexpensive full outfits priced @ L$150 or so.
And as I continue to peruse my collection of random screenshots and fashion photo things, we move onto…
Stuff I like to wear at INSILICO, a post-apocalyptic city in Second Life, also a cyberpunk RP community. I’ve participated in roleplay there quite minimally as of late, but I was all into it when I first discovered it. In my enthusiasm as a budding voice actress, I even created some personal character gestures, with my voice saying some generic roleplay lines. That gave me the idea that maybe I could do more of those – if there were people that showed interest in commissioning RP gestures with some VA attached to it. ^.~
And then sometimes I’ll just dress kinda normal . . . in that elfish sort of way, of course.
